Jeep Week 2019 – What You Need to Know and Bring

After waiting all summer, it is finally here: Ocean City Jeep Week 2019. In just a few short weeks, it will be time for the ultimate weekend vacation for Jeep enthusiasts of all ages. But, before the chaos can begin, it is important to note the specifics you might have missed in all the excitement.

Register Your Jeep

Unlike normal event tickets, the registration for Jeep Week is focused solely on the vehicles.  General admission includes access for the registrant’s Jeep, along with two passes for the driver and passenger. The registration also includes free passes for any children under 12.

The general admission registration level does not include Beach Crawl or Beach Sand Course admission; if you would like to participate in these events, you must purchase additional registration levels.

Participation Packet Pickup

If you purchased your tickets online ahead of time, we recommend picking up your Participant Packet as soon as possible. Many event-goers plan to arrive in Ocean City a few days before the start of the weekend to get settled in and maximum vacation time.

If you fall into this early-bird category, Trick Trucks has the perfect solution for not missing out on any of the Jeep Week action.

Instead of wasting valuable time picking up your packet when the event begins on August 22nd, consider attending Packet Pickup on the 20th or 21st. This way, you will have enough time to thoroughly read through the information, without having to miss any events to stand in line.

Participant Packet Pickup will be held from 12pm – 5pm on both Tuesday, August 20th and Wednesday, August 21st.

Jeep Regulations

Every day of Jeep Week kicks off with the traditional Beach Crawl. From 6:30am to 7:15am, 300 Jeeps parade down the sandy beach while spectators watch in awe. Similarly, the Beach Obstacle Course is another opportunity to show off the abilities and accessories of your Jeep.

To participate in each of these events, your vehicle must comply with the regulations. Each Jeep is required to engage 4×4, or 4-wheel drive. Drivers are also asked to air down their tire to 15 PSI. To make this process as quick as possible, drivers are encouraged to bring their own portable air compressors.

There will be compressors on site, but with over 300 Jeeps, the wait might not be worth the trouble. Bringing your own compressor will not only ensure your spot on the course but can serve to help others as well.
